Dog Gone Gourmet Grain Free Dog Foods are nutritionally balanced, all natural foods in a semi-soft (sliceable) format. Our dog foods are formulated to be a complete food for your dog (see Feeding section) however they are also great as a supplement to your dog’s current food or a topper to entice eating. If you need to give medications to your dog, just wrap it in a bit of Rollover food and your dog will never know! They love the taste SO much, you can even use our foods as treats.
These foods are completely free of grains, made with locally grown chickpeas that are non-GMO, have a low glycemic index and are a great source of healthy carbohydrates. Taurine is added to these foods for the health of your dog.
All of these foods have real meat, sourced from human-grade facilities, as the first ingredient and Rollover’s unique cooking process seals in the natural juices and flavours of the meats, making our foods irresistible to dogs.
Dog Gone Gourmet Grain Free Beef dog food is made with Alberta Beef organ meats and our Dog Gone Gourmet Grain Free Lamb dog food is made with New Zealand lamb organ meats. Organ meats are considered ‘superfoods’; excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and protein. Dog Gone Gourmet Grain Free Chicken dog food is made with Canadian white and dark chicken muscle meat which is high in protein and highly digestible. Dog Gone Gourmet Grain Free Whitefish-Herring dog food is made with sustainable whitefish and herring, is high in protein and Omega 3’s plus is very low in fat.

Lamb and Beef organ meats are considered ‘super foods’ due to their high protein content and nutrient density.
Mechanically de-boned chicken consists of chicken meat only (no by-products). It is very high in protein, low in fat and is an excellent source of niacin (cancer-protective B vitamin) and selenium (required for immune and thyroid function). As well, it is a good source of Vitamin B6 which is helpful for supporting energy metabolism.
Whitefish is a good source of Omega 3’s, excellent for the skin and coat. As well, whitefish is a rich source of niacin, phosphorous, and selenium.
Chickpeas are rich vitamins and minerals as well as fiber and protein. They are low in sodium and help to regulate blood sugar.
Tapioca is enriched with iron and copper and is a good digestive fibre.
Sugar is present in our dog food as a humectant only (prevents mould and bacteria growth). Rollover ensures that the absolute minimum possible is used (safe upper limit is 35%**; Rollover uses 13%) and sugar is easily digested by dogs.
Salt is a critical requirement for all living beings and, as its components are not synthesized by dogs naturally, is required as a supplement in their food. Rollover adds only sufficient salt to ensure your dog has the required amounts of sodium and chloride for optimal health.
Taurine is essential for the proper functioning of the eyes and heart.
Folic Acid helps to digest and utilize proteins, aids in tissue growth and cell function and is necessary for the production of red blood cells and the synthesis of DNA.
Biotin is needed for cell growth and the metabolism of fats and amino acids.
Choline is an essential nutrient that is required for the formation of cell membranes and is also helpful in preventing the formation of a fatty liver.

Dog Gone Gourmet Dog Food can be used as a topper, supplement or full feed. Just grate, slice, dice or chop the food into your dog’s bowl. Once opened, it does need to be refrigerated and will remain fresh for 7-10 days. Freeze for prolonged storage.

My really fussy little Schnoodle really loves this stuff. She is 11 years old now and for all those years I have been fighting to get her to eat. She always approaches her dish carefully and sniffs and walks away. I have tried many brands! Since we have discovered this she just can’t wait for me to put the dish down. Thank you so much!!
