Description
Rollover Premium Dog Foods are the original dog food rolls in North America. They are nutritionally balanced, all natural foods in a semi-soft (sliceable) format. Our dog foods are formulated to be a complete food for your dog (see Feeding section) however they are also great as a supplement to your dog’s current food or a topper to entice eating. If you need to give medications to your dog, just wrap it in a bit of Rollover food and your dog will never know! They love the taste SO much, you can even use our foods as treats.
All of these foods have real meat, sourced from human-grade facilities, as the first ingredient. The meat is blended with Canadian-grown grains to produce a delicious and nutritious food. Rollover’s unique cooking process seals in the natural juices and flavours of the meats, making our foods irresistible to dogs.
Our Beef dog food is made with Alberta Beef organ meats and our Lamb & Rice dog food is made with New Zealand lamb organ meats. Organ meats are considered ‘superfoods’; excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and protein. Chicken dog food is made with Canadian white and dark Chicken muscle meat, making this a delicious high protein, lower fat option for your dog.
Rollover is proud to have always made our dog foods in our own High River, Alberta plant. We never out-source the production of our dog food or unique treats.
Rollover Premium Beef Dog Food and Lamb & Rice Dog Food both have approximately 2.5 cal/g while Chicken has approximately 2.2 cal/g.

Benefits
Beef and Lamb Organ meats are considered ‘super foods’ due to their high protein content and nutrient density.
Chicken is high in protein and is a good source of vitamins and minerals.
Plus,
Whole Wheat Flour is high in fibre and higher in protein than white flour. It is a healthier alternative when flour is required for a recipe.
Sugar is present in our dog food as a humectant only (prevents mould and bacteria growth). Rollover ensures that the absolute minimum possible is used (safe upper limit is 35%**; Rollover uses 13%) and sugar is easily digested by dogs.
Oat Flakes help to improve and regulate digestion, reduce blood sugar, and help to keep your dog feeling fuller, longer. Oat flakes are high in amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
Salt is a critical requirement for all living beings and, as its components are not synthesized by dogs naturally, is required as a supplement in their food. Rollover adds only sufficient salt to ensure your dog has the required amounts of sodium and chloride for optimal health.
Folic Acid helps to digest and utilize proteins, aids in tissue growth and cell function and is necessary for the production of red blood cells and the synthesis of DNA.
Biotin is needed for cell growth and the metabolism of fats and amino acids.
Choline is an essential nutrient that is required for the formation of cell membranes and is also helpful in preventing the formation of a fatty liver.

My New Puppy would absolutely would not eat her Kibble. It wasn’t until we where given a few rolls of the wet food. She loved it so much she did not know there was more kibble than the wet food. She finished the hole bowl, And wanted more. I would highly recommend for the picky eater in your life!

Thank you for letting us know how much your dogs enjoy our Lamb & Rice dog food! We are proud of the foods we make and know your dogs will thrive on it.
Trish McKeen –
I have raised numerous dogs on rollover. Even the girl (passed many years ago) with gastric issues thrived on it, could travel on it. Puppies thrive on it. Elderly dogs thrive on it. I wouldn’t know what to do without it! In 2014 I took a little one to Davis, California university vet hospital for specialized surgery. The little one had to be careful of the quality and quantity of protein she ate, until she had her surgery, as the by products of protein breakdown was causing toxicity. After surgery, there was no looking back. The vets were very impressed by Rollover, and wished it was available in the US!
Thank you for this wonderful product!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Trish. We are very proud of our dog foods and are so pleased to hear how well your dogs have done on them!

The first dog food my puppy continues to eat. I had tried about 15 different types/brands including raw food but I could never get her to eat the amount she should and after a few days, she would refuse the food. I tried almost every topper available – no luck. After 3 months, I finally came across the rollover food – she loves it. She eats the salmon, beef, and lamb (I have not tried the chicken) and she has been eating 3 meals a day!!! I usually give a little extra if she asks.

Hi Wendy. We’re so glad that your girl is enjoying our foods! We know she’ll live a long, healthy live with Rollover.
Brenda –
This product is amazing!! My dog can’t eat any type of processed kibble or wet food. This is so convenient and easy. She loves it.
Cathy (verified owner) –
Hi Brenda. We’re so happy to hear that your girl is enjoying Rollover and doing well with it! We have so many different flavours and formats, hopefully she enjoys them all!
Candy –
I have 2 beagle pups. Anyone who knows beagles, knows their nose can get them into a lot of trouble. Rollover smells delicious and keeps these pups wanting more. I cut the roll into chunks then cut a chunk at a time into small bite sized treats. These are the best high value treats I’ve discovered yet! Even better is how many treats we get for a low price. Rollover is a win-win-win!
Cathy (verified owner) –
Hi Candy! So glad to hear that our dog food is working so well as a treat for your beagle. Even though it’s formulated as a food, it’s great for a treat, for training, as a topper and even to give medications. Whatever the reason you use it, you know your dog is getting a healthy, balanced, natural food.
Ashley –
I recently bought the 2KG beef roll as I wanted it for training purposes. I’m training my dog for competitive obedience competition(s). I cut some in 1/2″ slices than cubed it as training treats. I sliced the reminder and freeze it for later use. My dog responds so well to this when training. I regard it as a high value treat. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high value treat when training their puppy / dog. I’m so glad I found out about this product from a casual discussion I was having with a friend as I had never heard of this product before. I’ll be using this for a long time knowing that my dog is being rewarded with healthy food / treats when training.

Hi Ashley. We’re happy to hear how well your dog is doing in training with Rollover dog food. We have so many people tell us how well it works for training, obedience, scent trials, agility etc. and we’re pleased it works so well and in so many ways.

We have 2 yorkies, one of which has very few teeth. They refuse kibble and we’ve even tried high protein human food diets. They love Rollover more. They’re healthy and happy at 7 and 8.
Cathy (verified owner) –
Thank you Lisa! We’re so happy that your dogs are doing well on our foods!
Bev –
My 3.5 pound yorkshire terrier loves this food. I cut it into pea size bites and bring some outside while potty training. When she potties outside I say “yes” and she gets a bit. The little rascal has learned to “squat” and trick me so she gets at least 5-6 pieces every trip outside LOL,, ( she gets a dry kibble in the house, this is her reward food)
Cathy (verified owner) –
Hi Bev – we’re so happy to hear how well your little one does with our food. She is a bit of a character, squatting just to get extras! We hope she enjoys her Rollover for years to come.
Laura Williams –
My dog loved the chicken, but after a few months has gotten tired of it. We tried the beef and he LOVES it. He’s so hard to feed so I’m glad there’s a variety of rolls to try when he gets tired of his current flavours. I also appreciate it being made in canada
Cathy (verified owner) –
Hi Laura. We’re happy to hear that you’ve found another protein that your dog enjoys. Some dogs get bored with one flavour, so we’re happy to have a number of options for your little one.
